Life changed thanks to preferential policy credit
Thanks to preferential credit, many poor households in Thai Hoa (Nghe An province) have had opportunities for production, economic development and stable lives.

Many residents got out of poverty thanks to preferential credit
Many years ago, Mr. Nguyen Hai Dang’s family (village 7) was one of the most disadvantaged households, and he luckily received a loan of VND 50 million from VBSP Thai Hoa district and bought 3 cows. From the profit he gained, after 4 years, he could afford other 10 pigs and 100 chickens.
In addition, Mr. Dang also renovated the pond to raise turtles and plant fruit tree such as grapefruit, banana, guava, etc. From the initial loan, his family widened production and paid off his debt. Mr. Dang told that many households, especially the poor and near-poor also chances to change their lives.
Vuong Sy Hoa, Director of VBSP Thai Hoa district said that the outstanding revenue of quarter III/2023 has been VND 6.992 billion, helping more than 1,359 turns of the poor households and other beneficiaries have chances to access to preferential credit. In which, 11 turns of the poor households, 872 turns of the near-poor households, 180 labors were created jobs, and nearly 470 works of rural safe water and sanitation were built and repaired.
Preferential policy credit has timely facilitated the poor and other target groups develop economy, raise their incomes, stabilize their lives, contribute to creating jobs and ensure social security in the locality.
