The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Provincial Branch of the Social Policy Bank (NHCSXH) recently collaborated to launch the movement "Send savings to help the poor".
The program calls on agencies, units, officials, Party members, civil servants, public employees, association members, union members, workers, and the people to open payment accounts and deposit savings at the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, in order to create additional resources for "Joining hands for the poor and other policy beneficiaries".

Sustainable poverty reduction is a major policy of the Party and the State. In recent years, social policy credit activities have proven highly effective, making a positive contribution to the implementation of the national target program for sustainable poverty reduction, building new rural areas, and ensuring social security at the local level.
Regarding the results of the "Saving for the Poor" campaign in the first six months of 2026, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hoai, Deputy Director of the Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, stated that the mobilized amount was 438 billion VND; the disbursed amount was 353 billion VND; and the cumulative balance reached over 1.1 trillion VND, an increase of 85 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, achieving 48.6% of the assigned target.
In the spirit of concerted effort and unity among organizations and individuals to achieve sustainable poverty reduction goals, to date, 3 organizations have contributed funds with balances exceeding 20 billion VND; 3 organizations have contributed funds with balances ranging from 10 billion VND to less than 20 billion VND; 4 organizations have contributed funds with balances ranging from 5 billion VND to less than 10 billion VND; and 12 organizations have contributed funds with balances ranging from 1 billion VND to less than 5 billion VND.
There is 1 individual with a deposit balance exceeding 5 billion VND; 7 individuals with deposit balances ranging from 3 billion VND to less than 5 billion VND; 150 individuals with deposit balances ranging from 1 billion VND to less than 2 billion VND; and 320 individuals with deposit balances ranging from 500 million VND to less than 1 billion VND.
The total number of corporate payment accounts reached 315, an increase of 69 accounts compared to the beginning of the year. The balance of corporate payment accounts reached VND 103 billion, an increase of VND 55 billion compared to the beginning of the year. The total number of individual customers registered to use Mobilebanking services (VBSP SmartBanking) reached 11,468 out of 14,579 customers who registered to open payment accounts, an increase of 1,563 customers compared to the beginning of the year. The balance of individual payment accounts reached VND 127 billion, an increase of VND 98 billion compared to the beginning of the year.
To further promote the spirit of solidarity and unity among organizations and individuals in achieving the goal of sustainable poverty reduction, on July 22nd, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies signed an agreement to launch the "Saving Money to Help the Poor" campaign in the province for 2026. The campaign will run from July 22nd to December 31st, 2026, and will continue in subsequent years.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, emphasized that after the signing ceremony, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda within the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels and its member organizations, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, and other sectors to ensure the program spreads widely and mobilizes the joint efforts and solidarity of organizations and individuals to work together to achieve the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
